Also known as moobs or a large male breasts. Many men suffer from this condition for genetic, hormonal or weight gain reasons. Some medicines can also cause gynecomastia. The technique to reduce the condition is minimally invasive, which involves liposuction of major part of the breasts and removal of glands through a small incision above the nipple. The scars are almost invisible. Redundant skin shrinks well by wearing a special compression garments. This is unlike other technique, still used by some surgeon, which leaves an invented “T” shaped scar.

Breast Augmentation (Enlargement)

Ladies who wish to have larger breasts can benefit from this procedure. The usual method is by insertion of silicon implants. This is a straight forward procedure. Patients can go home the same day. There are many types of implants which can be placed under the breasts or under the muscles. The choice of the implants and the plane would be decided at the consultation with our American Board certified surgeon. There is an alternative to silicon implants that is by fat transplantation (transfer). It was found that fat contains 10% of stem cells. This technique has the benefit of being minimally invasive which would lead to a more natural result and no visible scar.

Brest Reduction

Some ladies suffer from unduly large breasts as a result of breast feeding or putting on some weight. Large breasts can cause back or neck pain as a result. The size of the breasts can be reduced remarkable by surgically removing part of the skin and breasts tissue. Nipples are lifted into a more natural position. The wounds usually heal well and the scars are inconspicuous.

Breast Lifting (Mastopexy)

Some women may suffer from a droopy or saggy breasts. This maybe as result of breast feeding or weight loss. The procedure involves removing the excess skin and lifting the nipple to reshape the breasts and give them a more natural look.

It involves placing breast implants under breast tissue or chest muscles.

Sometimes, breast augmentation is done under local anesthesia in which you are awake and your breast area is numbed. Often, though, breast augmentation is done during general anesthesia, in which you're asleep for the surgery.
